Keep up to date on what's going on around NMS by liking us on our Netzaberg Middle School Facebook page! We'll post video projects, updates about programming, etc. Thanks for following us!
Our first video of the semester is done!! It took us 1 extra day due to technical difficulties with voice over, but we did it! Here's one from 2nd period.
Happy New Year, Knights! So far this year Video Production students are producing documentaries for the C-SPAN Student Cam competition. The theme this year is "What do YOU most want candidates to discuss during the 2016 presidential campaign?" Students have chosen a variety of topics including world peace, climate change and educational reform. They are competing with middle and high school students across the US and have the opportunity to win up to $5000! Wish us luck!
NMS Journalism students have finalized their first episode of Knight TV, our student-produced school news show. This episode features segments on the Pink up the Pace fun run, Red Ribbon Week and the student council elections. Check it out and let us know what you think!
So impressed with the first few projects by my Photography class!
We're attempting something new this year. Video Production and Journalism classes are competing to see who can produce the best music video! Period 2 is creating a parody of "Shake it Off". Period 3 is doing "Watch Me"" and Period 4 is working on "My Lips are Moving". Once we're doing we'll upload and share and the video with the most views wins! Wish us luck!
I tell people all the time I have the best gig in the world! I get to work with the most amazingly creative 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Netzaberg Middle School. This year we're looking forward to producing epic pieces of digital media in Video Production and conquering the world with our Lego Mindstorms in Programming!
